This interactive and comprehensive Grade 8 mathematics course equips students with the critical thinking skills and mathematical fluency necessary for academic success. Students will master operations with rational numbers, apply exponents and roots, and explore proportional reasoning through real-world examples. They’ll dive into algebraic expressions, solve equations and inequalities, and analyze number patterns and sequences.
In geometry, learners will study shapes, symmetry, and transformations, and apply the Pythagorean theorem and basic trigonometric ratios. The statistics unit focuses on data representation and interpretation, while the functions section introduces students to mathematical relationships and graphing. Through hands-on learning and continuous assessment, students will gain confidence and competence in key math areas.
