About Course

This Abacus Foundations course introduces children to the world of mental arithmetic using the abacus as a powerful tool. Starting with single and double-digit calculations, kids will learn key techniques like direct addition and subtraction and explore concepts such as 'Less Friends' (9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) and 'Less Family' (6, 7, 8, 9). The course progresses to more advanced calculations like adding and subtracting 50, guiding children from the fundamentals to mastering mental arithmetic (MA) techniques from levels 1 and 2, both with and without the abacus.
