Beginning Piano course is a 1-month course delivered entirely online and structured with 10 lessons outlined in this syllabus. The course features teaching theory and lectures presented by the Instructor, practice assignments for piano technique and repertoire, and lesson quizzes for music terms and theory.
In my class, I have been using different techniques in teaching and learning music depending on the level of every student. Expectations are that students will practice their music pieces independently and use an online discussion and teaching theories and comprehension.
Students are expected to perform during classes and are required to complete the course in a month.
My name is Teacher Rhona Ona Perillo. I graduated with a bachelor's Degree in Music majoring in Piano in 2000 and a bachelor's Degree in Education majoring in English. I've been teaching Piano Lessons for 22 years and English lessons for 8 years. I'm now a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines. I believe that teaching is my passion and I want to see my apprentices develop their skills and talents in music.
