The Advanced Placement (AP) Biology is meant for students who desire to take college-level courses and earn credit while still in high school. AP Biology exams are typically held in May.
In this live online course, instructors train and work with you together so that you are able to score highest possible scores in the AP Biology exams. Students should have successfully completed high school courses in biology & chemistry.
In the AP Biology course students explore topics like evolution, cellular processes, energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology, and interactions. In the AP Biology course, 25 percent of the instructional time will be spent on laboratory work.
The AP Biology Exam assesses student understanding of the science practices. The exam is 3 hours long and includes 60 multiple-choice questions and 6 free-response questions.
