About Course

This Carnatic vocal course provides a comprehensive foundation in traditional South Indian classical music. Students will begin with Saral Swaras, Janta Swaras, and Alankaras to build voice control and strengthen their understanding of sruthi (pitch) and tala (rhythm). The course progresses to Geethams, Swara Pallavis, and Swara Jathis, enabling students to develop fluency in singing compositions. Advanced topics such as Taana Varnams, Tala Varnams, and Kriti/Keertanas will be introduced, helping learners explore intricate melodies and rhythm cycles. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to perform confidently and progress to higher levels of Carnatic music learning.
