About Course

Chess is believed to enhance strategic thinking. This is a foundation course on chess, for beginners that will help you play the game following international rules. It will also groom you to take on more advanced learning.

In this course, you will have a tutor taking you through all the basics showing you how to arrange the pieces, the movements of each piece and their special features. Meant for anyone who has a strong desire to understand the tactics of the game, all you need is a chess set. 

Sessions are paced twice a week with an experienced chess master who will lead you through a routine followed by practice exercises, allowing you to demonstrate your learning and make corrections.
